Hello there! My name's Alex Wilson, and I'm a student currently studying film production and cinematography at Wiltshire College Salisbury, a satellite site for Bournemouth University. Hailing from the Marches city of Hereford, I've been making films in my free time since 2008, and I'm hoping to turn this into a career.

Through the course of viewing this site, I hope you'll find plenty of information concerning me and the films I've worked on (some of it may even be interesting, though I'm loathe to make any promises in that regard). Certainly, the information is there to be found - in the filmography section, I've created a separate page for each and every individual film, where you can watch the video and see the full cast and crew, as well as reading my little commentary on the film.

There's also a blog, in which I occasionally talk about something that interests me, be it film or something completely different - writing, perhaps, as I'm in the process of writing a novel. To my shame I've left the blog often untouched, even though I set it up in 2013, and that's something I often vow to rectify - before apathy sets in once more and several months tick by without a single post.

I've even included some information about ShiftyPotatoes, the amateur film organisation I set up with some friends back in 2012 and which I've been a member of ever since.

So you have two options. One, you can dive in and read more (I hope you pick this option). Or two, you can click on the left-facing arrow near the top of your browser window and high-tail it off this site (I really hope you don't plump for this choice). To help you make up your mind, I've provided a playlist of some of my favourite work for you to watch (in chronological order, of course):

If you do decide to stick around, you can find an archive of blog posts on the sidebar to the right, or alternatively you can navigate to one of the links at the top of the page, and dive into the rabbit-warren of information which I like to call my website.
